Pastel Paintings

Pastels are pure pigment, it's the same pigment used in making all fine art paint related materials. They are the most permanent of all medium when applied to archival papers and properly framed. Pastels are a dry medium. There are no liquids used in the process of making pastel sticks which could cause discoloration of pigment.

Pastels are not pale colors as many people think. They are bright and bold as you can see in these works of art. A strong sense of light and shadow or atmosphere as well as richly-applied pigment are additional hallmarks of Senad's paintings.
